Aluminium partition work for offices across Delhi NCR
Partitions are the one job where the client is usually still working in the building. It is dry work with no wet trades, so a cabin layout can go up over a weekend and your people walk into a finished office on Monday. We do the sections, the glass and the doors as one scope.
How office partitions are usually built
Almost every layout comes down to two decisions: how high the partition goes, and what fills the frame. Get those right at the drawing stage and the rest is straightforward.

Half-panel, half-glass cabins
The standard office cabin. Solid board to desk height, glass above it. You get privacy at seat level, daylight across the floor and a manager who can still see the room. It is also the cheapest configuration per sq ft because glass is the expensive half.
- Infill
- Prelam board below, 8mm glass above
- Height
- 7ft standard, 9ft where the ceiling allows
- Best for
- Manager cabins, open-plan offices

Full-height partitions to slab
Runs past the false ceiling and closes off against the slab. This is the only version that actually gives you acoustic separation, because in a 7ft or ceiling-height partition the sound simply travels over the top through the ceiling void. Worth the extra on meeting rooms and HR cabins.
- Detail
- Sealed at slab, insulation in the cavity
- Infill
- Board, double board, or glass
- Best for
- Meeting rooms, HR, MD cabins, clinics

Counters and reception fronts
Cash counters, bank and clinic reception fronts, teller openings with a transaction slot. Small in area but detail-heavy, because the working height, the pass-through and the cable route all have to be right for the person sitting there eight hours a day.
- Glass
- 8mm or 10mm, with a transaction cut-out
- Detail
- Cable routing and socket boxes built in
- Best for
- Reception, cash counters, clinics, showrooms

Partitions with doors built in
Every cabin needs a way in. Aluminium framed door with a glass panel is the usual answer and the cheapest. A frameless toughened glass leaf inside an aluminium partition looks better and costs more. Both get quoted with the run so nothing turns up as an extra.
- Door
- Framed aluminium, or frameless toughened glass
- Hardware
- Closer or floor spring, mortice or patch lock
- Best for
- Any cabin layout
If you want a full glass wall with no framing across it, that is glass partitions. Frameless glass leaves and patch fittings are on frameless glass doors, and we usually fit false ceilings on the same visit so one team handles the whole floor.
Things worth deciding before the sections are cut
Sound, honestly
A ceiling-height partition does not stop conversation. Sound goes up over the partition, through the ceiling void and down the other side. If a room needs to be private, it has to run to the slab with the cavity packed. If it just needs to look like a room, it does not.
Glass, and being able to see it
Clear glass at eye level gets walked into. We put a frosted band or a film line across it at about 1.4 metres, which reads as design and is genuinely a safety detail. Frosted, etched, gradient or a printed logo all cost roughly the same.
It comes apart again
Aluminium partitions are dry-fixed and demountable. When the floor plate changes or the lease moves, the sections and glass come out and go back up somewhere else. That is not true of a gypsum wall, and it is the main reason offices choose this over drywall.
Working around a live office
No wet trades, so no drying time and very little dust. Most cabin layouts go up on a Saturday and Sunday. Tell us the floor is occupied and we will plan the cutting outside the building rather than in your corridor.

What it costs
₹200 to ₹350 per sq ft, fitted
Supply and fitting, before GST, measured on the face area of the partition. Half-panel half-glass at 7ft sits at the bottom of that band. Full-height to slab with insulation, thicker glass or a heavier section sits at the top. Doors and hardware are quoted per leaf so you can see them separately.
Send sizes for a firm rate →What moves the number
GST extra. Weekend or night working is included on occupied floors at no premium.

Layout and measurement
We mark the runs on your floor with tape before anything is cut, because a cabin that looked generous on the drawing can turn out to leave no room for a chair to pull back. Twenty minutes on site saves a change order later.
Fabrication
Sections cut and machined at the workshop, glass ordered to the measured sizes, boards cut and edged. Everything arrives ready to assemble so the cutting noise stays out of your office.
Installation
Floor and ceiling channels set out and levelled, sections in, glass and boards fitted, doors hung and adjusted. Weekend working where the floor is occupied. Then every door is swung and every lock tested with you.
Questions we get on every aluminium partitions job
What is the aluminium partition rate per sq ft?
Between ₹200 and ₹350 per sq ft for supply and fitting, before GST, measured on the partition face. A 7ft half-panel half-glass cabin is at the bottom of that band. Full height to slab with insulation, or a larger glass area, moves it towards the top. Doors and hardware are quoted separately per leaf.
How long does an office partition job take?
Two to five working days on site for a typical office floor, after 7 to 10 days of fabrication. Because it is dry work with no wet trades, most cabin layouts can be installed over a weekend so nobody loses a working day.
Do aluminium partitions block sound?
Only if they run to the slab. A partition that stops at the false ceiling lets sound travel over the top through the ceiling void, whatever it is made of. For a meeting room or an HR cabin we take the partition past the ceiling, seal it at the slab and pack the cavity. For general cabins that is usually unnecessary spend.
Can partitions be moved later?
Yes, that is one of the main reasons offices use them. The sections are dry-fixed and demountable, so when the layout changes the partition comes down and goes back up elsewhere with new glass or boards where needed. A drywall partition has to be demolished.
What goes in the partition, glass or board?
Usually both. Prelam board or MDF to desk height and 8mm glass above it is the standard, and the cheapest per sq ft because glass costs more than board. Full glass looks better and costs more. We can also do double glass with blinds sitting inside the cavity.
Do you work in occupied offices?
Regularly. Cutting happens outside the floor, dust sheets go down, and we work weekends or evenings where the floor is live. There is no premium on our rate for that.

Send the floor plan. We will price the layout.
A rough plan or even a photograph of the floor with approximate run lengths is enough to start. Measurement is free anywhere in NCR and there is nothing to sign after it.
