Glass partitions for offices across Delhi NCR
A glass wall gives you a room without taking the daylight away from everyone behind it, which is why almost every office fit-out in NCR now specifies one. The work is in the edges and the joints, because with no frame across the face there is nothing to hide behind.
The glass walls we build
All of it in toughened glass, because a partition is a wall people will lean on, push chairs into and eventually walk into. Ordinary float glass at that size breaks into blades.

Frameless glass partitions
Glass held in a slim channel at floor and ceiling, with the vertical joints between panels siliconed rather than framed. From inside the room you see glass and nothing else. It is the cleanest look and the least forgiving, because every joint is on show.
- Glass
- 10mm or 12mm toughened
- Joints
- Clear structural silicone, no vertical posts
- Best for
- Meeting rooms, MD cabins, showrooms

Slim-framed glass walls
A narrow aluminium profile around each panel, usually powder-coated black or grey. It costs less than frameless, hides small tolerances in the floor and ceiling, and the black-line look is what a lot of offices actually want now.
- Glass
- 8mm or 10mm toughened
- Frame
- Slim aluminium, powder-coated any RAL
- Best for
- Open-plan offices, cabin runs, clinics

Double-glazed acoustic walls
Two glass panes with a cavity, which is the only version that genuinely quietens a room. Blinds can sit inside the cavity, operated from the edge, so they never gather dust and nobody bends the slats.
- Build
- Two toughened panes, sealed cavity
- Blinds
- Optional, inside the cavity
- Best for
- Board rooms, HR, consulting rooms

Glass walls with doors
A frameless toughened leaf on patch fittings, or a sliding glass door running on a track above the opening where floor space is tight. Both are quoted with the wall so nothing appears later as an extra.
- Door
- Frameless swing on patch fittings, or sliding
- Hardware
- Floor spring, patch lock, D-handles
- Best for
- Any cabin that needs a door
Where you want a solid lower half and glass above, framed work is cheaper: see aluminium partitions. Standalone glass entrances and shopfront leaves are on frameless glass doors.
What decides whether a glass wall looks expensive
Manifestation, and why it is not optional
A clear glass wall gets walked into. A frosted band, an etched line or a printed logo at about 1.4 metres solves it and reads as design rather than a warning. Decide the pattern early, because it is applied to the panel and changing it later means re-doing the film across the whole run.
Edges and joints
Every visible edge is polished, not just cut. Vertical joints between frameless panels get a clear structural silicone bead run in one pass. A joint filled in two goes and touched up shows a line for the life of the wall, in exactly the place people stand and look.
Floors are never flat
Office floors run out of level by several millimetres across a long partition run. Frameless glass shows that instantly along the ceiling line. We survey the floor and set the channels to a datum rather than to the floor, which is why the top line reads straight.
Sound expectations
Single-glazed glass to the false ceiling looks like a private room and is not one. If people inside need to talk confidentially, you need double glazing and the partition taken to the slab. We would rather say that before you order than after.

What it costs
₹200 to ₹350 per sq ft, fitted
Supply and fitting, before GST, measured on the face area. Slim-framed 8mm work sits at the bottom of that band. Frameless 12mm, double-glazed acoustic build-ups and anything with blinds inside the cavity sits at the top. Doors, floor springs and locks are quoted per leaf.

GST extra. Weekend working on occupied floors at no premium.

Ask for photos of office work near you and we will send a set on WhatsApp.

Layout and survey
We mark the run on the floor and check the level along it, plus how square the walls it meets actually are. On frameless work those two numbers decide the whole detail, so they get measured rather than assumed.
Glass to size
Toughened glass has to be cut, polished and drilled before it is toughened, so it is ordered to the measured size and cannot be trimmed on site. That is exactly why we do not work off a drawing dimension.
Installation and sealing
Channels set to a datum, glass lifted in, joints siliconed in a single pass, manifestation applied, doors hung and the floor spring set to the closing speed you want. Then we clean the glass properly before we leave.
Questions we get on every glass partitions job
What does an office glass partition cost per sq ft?
Between ₹200 and ₹350 per sq ft for supply and fitting, before GST. Slim-framed 8mm toughened work is at the bottom of that band; frameless 12mm and double-glazed acoustic walls are at the top. Doors, floor springs and locks are quoted per leaf.
What is the difference between a glass partition and an aluminium partition?
An aluminium partition is a framed system, usually with board below desk height and glass above, and it is the cheaper way to build cabins. A glass partition is a glass wall: either frameless or in a slim profile, glass from floor to ceiling. Glass costs more and gives you a lighter, more open floor.
Do glass partitions stop sound?
Single-glazed glass stopping at the false ceiling does not, because sound goes over the top through the ceiling void. If a room needs to be genuinely private, use a double-glazed partition taken up to the slab. We will tell you that before you order rather than after.
Is toughened glass necessary?
Yes. A partition is a wall people lean on and push chairs into, and ordinary float glass at that size breaks into blades. Everything we fit is toughened, and anything at full height carries a frosted or etched band so people can see it is there.
Can blinds be fitted inside the glass?
Yes, in a double-glazed partition. The blind sits in the sealed cavity and is operated from the edge, so it never gathers dust and nobody bends the slats. It costs more than a surface blind and it lasts a great deal longer.
How quickly can it be installed?
Glass is made to your measured sizes, so allow 7 to 12 working days for fabrication. Installation on a typical office floor is two to four days, and we work weekends on occupied floors at no premium.

A rough plan or a photograph of the floor with approximate run lengths is enough to start. Measurement is free anywhere in NCR and there is nothing to sign after it.
